Prince Andrew Photo Appears on Louvre Wall After Arrest Reports

An image of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor taken after his arrest has reportedly been displayed inside the Louvre by activists.

The anti-billionaire campaign group Everyone Hates Elon mounted the photograph on a wall within the Paris museum on Sunday.

In a statement sent to ITV News, the group explained their motives.

They wrote: “They say: ‘Hang it in the Louvre’. So we did.

The message continued: “We wanted to show the former Prince Andrew how the world will remember him – by hanging this iconic arrest photo in one of the world’s most famous museums.

They concluded: “Let’s hope this is just the beginning.

According to the activists, the image remained on display for approximately an hour before it was removed.

The Louvre has declined to comment on the incident.

The photograph was accompanied by the caption He’s Sweating Now, a reference to the former prince’s 2019 BBC interview in which he addressed allegations of sexual abuse.

During that interview, when responding to a claim that he had been profusely sweating on the night of the alleged incident, Mountbatten-Windsor stated that he suffers from a peculiar medical condition that prevents him from sweating.

Andrew has consistently denied all allegations of wrongdoing.

Everyone Hates Elon previously gained widespread attention after unveiling a photograph of Donald Trump with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on land near Windsor Castle, shortly before the US president’s second state visit to the UK.

In its most recent action, the group displayed an image of Mountbatten-Windsor reclining in the back of a vehicle following his release under investigation from a police station in Norfolk on Thursday evening.

He had been detained earlier that day on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
