Sarah Ferguson Urges Princess Eugenie and Beatrice to Support Her in Emotional Plea

Sarah Ferguson is reportedly facing criticism from members of high society, who have described her as shameless, money hungry and ruthless in response to what they view as her latest controversial venture.

Some critics have also suggested that the former Duchess appears out of touch, given her apparent determination to stage a public comeback despite renewed scrutiny over her past links to the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

According to reports, her daughters have become central to what is being described as an effort to rebuild her public standing.

An insider claimed: Sarah Ferguson is refusing to go away quietly despite humiliating new revelations from the Epstein files – and she’s still asking her daughters Eugenie and Beatrice for favours, much to the disgust of her estranged royal relatives, in comments shared with Closer magazine.

The disclosures reportedly include deeply embarrassing messages in which she expressed affection and gratitude to Epstein for his emotional support, while also seeking his advice on resolving her £6 million debt — at a time when he was imprisoned for procuring an underage girl for prostitution.

It is further claimed that she asked him for employment opportunities and, on occasion, brought her daughters to meet him. Being mentioned in the Epstein files does not in itself imply wrongdoing.

An insider said: Sarah is convinced she can come back from this; she won’t accept that her days are done and she’s pressuring everyone in her life to help her, most of all her girls.

Both of her daughters are financially independent and socially well-established.

Beatrice is married to Edoardo Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, a successful property developer from an Italian noble family. The couple share two daughters, Sienna (born in 2021) and Athena (born in 2025), and Edoardo is also father to a 10-year-old son, known as ‘Wolfie’.

Eugenie is married to businessman Jack Brooksbank, who comes from aristocratic lineage. Together, they have two sons — August, five, and Ernest, two.

So what, exactly, is Fergie, 66, hoping her well-connected and financially secure daughters will do for her?

According to reports, the primary request she is making — even pleading — is for them to help repair her reputation within royal circles and among influential members of high society. She reportedly sees this as the only viable route to restoring her standing, settling outstanding debts and maintaining her lavish way of life.

That lifestyle, as referenced in the Epstein files, allegedly included holidays in the south of France with the perfect butler and travelling internationally in first class.

An insider claimed that she is urgently seeking financial stability and is pressing Beatrice and Eugenie to help repair relationships within the Firm and among influential figures in their broader social network.

The source said: She’s desperate for cash and is imploring Beatrice and Eugenie to help perform damage control with various people within the Firm [the nickname for the royal family] and within their wider social circle. It’s so unfair that she would ask this of them but she’s in survival mode and desperate, so she’s not thinking of anyone but herself.

According to the same source, she believes that with sufficient financial backing, she could restore her position in elite society and is actively developing a strategy to do so — including identifying a public relations firm and potential benefactors.

As the insider added: She’s convinced if she has enough money she can buy her way back into society. She’s mapping out this whole strategy; from the PR firm she wants to hire to the potential benefactors she wants to try and go after. She’s rabid about this, she won’t go down without a fight.

However, tensions are said to be at their worst between Fergie and her daughters, Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35. Reports suggest the sisters are barely speaking to either parent following Andrew, 65, being stripped of his ‘prince’ title and further damaging claims emerging from the Epstein files — allegations he continues to strongly deny.

It is also alleged that Sarah is considering relocating to the Middle East temporarily before attempting a return to public life in the UK, once groundwork has been laid on her behalf.

In destinations such as Dubai, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, she is reportedly still received with the status of royalty. According to The Daily Mail, there are wealthy individuals in the region who are said to be unconcerned about her reported links to the Epstein files.

A source claimed: They have palaces and properties that they will quite happily loan out to Sarah and I wouldn’t be surprised if they even pay her airfares and cover all her bills to help her out.

Andrew is also understood to maintain friendships and connections in the region, and is said to benefit from the hospitality offered there. However, according to the source, Sarah is unwilling to divide opportunities.

Despite once famously describing herself and Andrew as the happiest divorced couple in the world, she is reportedly prepared to pursue influential and potentially lucrative contacts in the Middle East independently.

As the insider claimed: She’s totally stitched him up; she’s fighting for her life and she’s ruthless.

According to the source, Sarah and Andrew previously cultivated contacts in the region together, presenting a united front. Now, however, she is said to have moved independently, attempting to sideline him while positioning herself as the more viable figure.

As the insider claimed: She and Andrew once worked those contacts together, like a double act, and now she’s gone behind his back to cut him out. She’s pitching herself as the better bet and telling everyone that Andrew is sunk in the UK forever, that there’s no hope he can come back.

The source further alleged that her recent actions have caused frustration within royal circles, particularly given the reputational strain placed on her daughters.

They added: She’s absolutely shameless, there’s no other word for it. The sheer cheek of her asking anyone for help, especially the girls, after the damage that’s been done, is beyond the pale as far as everyone in the royal family is concerned. The harm that’s been done to Eugenie and Beatrice’s reputations is bordering on irreparable, through no fault of their own. So, for Sarah to demanding favours is astonishing.

The insider continued by claiming that financial pressure is driving her decisions, describing her as determined to avoid serious hardship.

As they said: She’s always been incredibly entitled and money hungry but even for her this feels low. The problem is she’s completely desperate. She’s going to be flat broke in no time now that she’s on her own so she’s turning every screw she can to try and avoid the poorhouse. She’s in survival mode and only thinking about herself. It doesn’t seem to enter her mind that she’s doing something wrong trying to rope her daughters in.

The source also alleged that she is portraying herself as a victim in the situation.

They concluded: What’s really galling is she’s trying to frame herself as a victim in all of this. She’s claiming that she was manipulated by Andrew and dragged into this and didn’t know a thing. It’s as though she thinks people will forget she was visiting Epstein and kissing up to him even after he was arrested the first time.

The insider claimed that she remains confident she can recover from the controversy and rebuild her standing — provided she secures enough financial backing.

As the source alleged: She fully believes that she can weasel her way out of this and is convinced that once she can drum up enough cash she’ll be able to build back some sympathy amongst the posh set in London. If she doesn’t have the money to keep up with them her plan is dead in the water. So, the first step is cash which is where the girls come in to help with this.
