Prince William and Princess Kate Reappear With a Refreshed Image During Their Summer Holiday

Prince William and Princess Catherine appear to have refreshed their social media presence during their summer break, giving royal fans a look back at some of their recent highlights and engagements.

The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a collage-style carousel featuring memorable moments from the summer, including their appearances at Wimbledon and Catherine’s solo visit to Italy.

The post opened with a photograph of the couple dressed elegantly for a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, followed by a slow-motion clip of William behind the wheel of a Formula E racing car.

Other images included a heartwarming family photo of William, Catherine and their three children relaxing on the grass in the sunshine. The montage also featured footage of William attending Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday celebration at the Royal Albert Hall, along with several moments from Catherine’s trip to Italy.

The montage concluded with a portrait of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, along with a photo from Catherine’s National Three Peaks Challenge. The Prince and Princess of Wales captioned the post: “The Summer Rewind. Thank you to everyone who has made the last few months so special!”

Set to the song “Summer Days” by Morunas, the Instagram carousel represents a fresh approach to the couple’s social media style. The collage-inspired format marks a shift from their more traditional posts, suggesting a modern new direction for their online presence.

The Waleses’ social media update came just days after Meghan Markle gave followers a glimpse into her own family’s summer break. Sharing behind-the-scenes moments featuring Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Meghan captioned the post simply: “Summer Holiday.”

One image showed the family of four strolling through the grounds of Althorp, the childhood home of Princess Diana, during their recent visit to the UK. Other photos captured them enjoying a day at the beach and cooling off in a swimming pool while on holiday.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Princess Catherine are making the most of the summer holidays with their three children before the new school term begins in September.

Prince George is preparing to start at the prestigious Eton College after completing his education at Lambrook School in Berkshire, where Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will continue their studies.

Both Prince William and Prince Harry were educated at Eton College, following in the footsteps of their uncle, Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer.

Reflecting on his own experience at the prestigious school, William once said that he “really enjoyed being able to go about Eton as just another student.”

Melanie Sanderson, managing editor of The Good Schools’ Guide, said on HELLO!‘s A Right Royal Podcast that Eton College is an ideal choice for the 13-year-old future King.

Explaining why, she said: “You can see Eton College from Windsor Castle. So that would be lovely for George to be able to pop home.”

She added: “The boys now are allowed a little bit of freedom to pop in and out of school at the weekends, to come home for Sunday lunch or tea on a Saturday evening after their sports fixtures.”
