Meghan Markle Said to Be ‘Tired’ of Royal Drama as Focus Turns to Prince Harry

Reports suggest Meghan Markle is increasingly focusing on building her own independent profile and business projects separate from Prince Harry.

Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, the couple have typically appeared together for most major public engagements and media ventures. In recent years, however, both Harry and Meghan have gradually begun taking on more solo appearances and individual projects.

According to recent claims, Meghan believes there may be stronger commercial opportunities in developing her own brand independently, with insiders alleging she feels she could potentially generate “more money” through solo ventures.

The Duchess was recently seen travelling alone to Geneva, while reports suggested she was the one who encouraged Harry to remain at home in Montecito during the trip.

According to royal commentator Rob Shuter, Meghan Markle reportedly believes that appearing independently could help shift public attention away from ongoing royal controversies connected to Prince Harry.

Speaking on Maureen Callahan’s The Nerve podcast, Shuter claimed: “Meghan has now decided that, my sources are telling me, she now believes that she is more powerful. She’s gonna make more money by stepping forward by herself, not with him.”

He continued: “She’s a problem, too. She hasn’t quite got to that point, but she knows there’s a problem with Harry.”

In a separate piece published on his Substack, Shuter also quoted sources allegedly saying: “Whenever Harry appears beside her, everything becomes about royal drama, and family feuds. Meghan wanted the spotlight on her work, not the chaos surrounding the Royal Family.”

Despite the reports that the couple may increasingly pursue separate professional engagements, insiders insist that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain united privately and continue to support one another personally.

Just last week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary and appeared as close as ever.

Meghan marked the occasion by sharing a collection of personal photos and videos online, giving followers a glimpse into the couple’s private celebrations, which included a cake and thoughtful gifts.

She also posted several never-before-seen images from their 2018 wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
