Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales have once again delighted royal fans by sharing a brand new portrait of Princess Charlotte to mark her 11th birthday on Saturday.
The charming image captures the young princess looking noticeably more grown-up as she poses outdoors among a field of daisies in scenic Cornwall.
Beaming for the camera, Charlotte appears effortlessly stylish, wearing a striped red-and-black knitted jumper layered over a blue collared shirt, paired with dark jeans. Her long brunette hair falls neatly past her shoulders, adding to the relaxed, natural feel of the photo.
Continuing a much-loved family tradition, the picture was taken by Matt Porteous during the Easter period. It was shared alongside the caption: “Wishing Charlotte a very happy 11th birthday!” 🎉
Royal fans were quick to notice the strong family resemblance in the new photo, with many commenting on how much Princess Charlotte looks like her father, Prince William.
The young princess is expected to mark her special day in private, celebrating with her parents, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, along with her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, who recently turned eight.

If Catherine, Princess of Wales’s past comments are anything to go by, Princess Charlotte is likely in for a special homemade birthday cake this weekend.
The royal mum-of-three has previously shared her love of baking her children’s cakes from scratch, saying: “I love making the cake.”

She also shared a glimpse into the family tradition, adding: “It’s become a bit of a tradition that I stay up ’til midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing and I make far too much. But I love it.”

Princess Charlotte’s birthday arrives during a particularly festive time for the Wales family.
Her special day comes just days after Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales marked their 15th wedding anniversary, and closely follows the birthday of her younger brother, Prince Louis, who celebrated his own milestone on April 23.
Princess Charlotte was born at 08:34 am on May 2, 2015, at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London.
Her full name—Charlotte Elizabeth Diana—carries heartfelt tributes to her grandfather, King Charles III, her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and Princess Diana, the late mother of Prince William.
